Working an exhibition stand is extremely hard work, especially at the end of the day during the final hours of the show when traffic is slow. Keeping your staff motivated can be a challenge, but it is vital. At the end of the show is a prime time for serious buyers to wander onto your stand, so keep your staff on their toes! Here are some tips to keep them energised -

The key for anyone to be motivated on an exhibition stand is that they need to want to be there. Select people who are willing to attend - don't force anyone, your results will be poor if you do. Given a choice, most employees would rather stay in their comfort zone at the office than attend an exhibition. If you take these people with you, motivation will be missing before you begin!

Top level management is contagious, get their support. Ask them to attend the show, help on the stand and take part in general. You will be surprosed at what effect this has on your stand staff.
