First impressions last so having the right team of people manning your stand is vital. These are the people that will leave an impression on the visitor, hopefully a lasting one!

Training your staff in detail is a must before you attend any show. They must understand the stand objectives and what part they play in helping to achieve them. Inform them of why and what you are exhibiting and what you expect of them. Do some role play in the training to help boost their confidence and to show them exactly what you are trying to achieve.

Their attitude, appearance, knowledge and body language are all equally as important as having a unique exhibition stand. They are critical to any future relationship with attendees. When choosing your stand staff, remember that trained face to face sales staff may not be the most suited to the exhibition stand environment, you may need to consider a tailor made training course for this to ensure you have the right balance.
