No.5 - Pre Exhibition Staff Meeting

Working on the exhibition floor can be demanding and tiring, not often the "easy option" that some people imagine. For the duration of the event, staff need to be professional and motivated at all times.

To properly prepare staff for the show it's wise to hold a pre-show meeting to include the following discussions:

• Reasons for exhibiting
• Personal responsibilities and targets
• Run through presentations to be given
• Explain the design of the stand, including graphics
• Enquiry handling procedures
• Sales literature
• Incentives / Giveaways
• Staff rota including designated breaks
• Show hours
• Accommodation and transport arrangements
• Off stand arrangements
