There are various levels of events you may choose to exhibit at, including International, National and Regional/Local:

International events provide a platform for exhibitions to launch new products/services to the global market, attracting worldwide visitors.

National shows are arranged where there is enough demand in a market to warrant an exhibition on a national level. The majority of trade events are organised on a national level.

Regional exhibitions are arranged in a local area of the country, for which most are consumer shows open to the public.

It is also important to differentiate between trade and consumer events:

A Trade exhibition is where companies in related businesses gather to showcase their products and services to other businesses.

A Consumer exhibition is one which is open to the general public, usually concentrated on a particular subject or theme.
